Food safety, responsible environmental behaviour, and consistency of implementing activities to ensure customer satisfaction are our main priorities today as well as in the future. The food safety management system of AS Leibur’s factory in Tallinn has been issued the FSSC 22000 certificate; the quality management system has been issued the ISO 9001 certificate and the environmental management system has been issued the ISO 14001 certificate.
In 2011, a major investment into a new and unique cleanroom technology used in Scandinavia was made for the implementation in Leibur. This technology enables the hygienic packaging and preparation of Leibur’s toasted products without adding preservatives, ensuring a shelf life of seven days and longer. Leibur’s rye breads remain soft and delicious because we use traditional rye leaven.
